Additionally, she has over 20 years of solid experience in the medical field as a cardiac technician, cardiac research assistant, and EKG analyst. She is significantly involved in the peri-procedural and peri-operative care of patients at St. Francis Medical Center. Hasana’s research involvement included studies evaluating patients with radial cardiac catheterization access, the use of drug eluting stents in vascular interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR), and the use of new anticoagulants for atrial fibrillation. During her tenure as a PA at Cooper University Medical Center, Hasana contributed to the education of interns, residents, and cardiology fellows in the areas of vascular medicine and peri-procedural care of interventional cardiology patients. Equally important to her is the ongoing medical education of cardiac patients.
